Preparing One Another

March 22, 2026

1 Peter 5:1-5

In this passage, we explore what it truly means to prepare and protect one another as the family of God. From shepherding with humility to guarding our fellowship, leadership, testimony and future. Scripture calls every believer to an active, intentional role in the life of the church. As Peter reminds us, “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care… being examples to the flock”.  This is a call not just for leaders—but for all of us who belong to Christ’s Bride.  How am I actively preparing and protecting my church family—not just attending, but investing?  Where is God calling me to grow in humility, service or example so that my life strengthens the fellowship rather than weakens it?

Being Prepared to Endure

March 15, 2026

1 Peter 5:1-5

When trials press in and faith is tested, Scripture reminds us that suffering for Christ is not a setback but a refining work of God. This message calls us to stand firm, trust our faithful Creator and continue doing good even when the fire is hot.  How am I responding to the challenges God is using to strengthen and refine my faith?  What does my daily testimony reveal about my commitment to stand for Christ, even when it costs me something?

Being Prepared for the End

March 8, 2026

1 Peter 4:7-11

Peter’s words remind us that “the end of all things is near” (1 Peter 4:7). Jesus echoes the same urgency: be watchful, be ready, be faithful. This Sunday, we’ll look at what real preparedness looks like—prayer that is earnest, love that is deep, hospitality that is genuine and lives that preach Christ through every action. The Judge is at the door, and our daily choices reveal how ready our hearts truly are.  What does my daily life reveal about my readiness for the Lord’s return?  Which area—prayer, love, hospitality or serving with my gifts—is God calling me to strengthen as I prepare for the end?

Being Prepared with Christ

March 1, 2026

1 Peter 4:1-6

Following Christ means preparing our hearts and minds with the same attitude He carried—an attitude willing to suffer for righteousness and fully committed to the will of God. Peter reminds us that the old life is behind us and that holiness, courage and faithfulness mark those who belong to Jesus. Though the world may not understand our choices, God sees, God knows and God will judge both the living and the dead. In this passage, we’ll explore what it truly means to be prepared with Christ in a world that pulls us in every other direction.  Where in my daily life is God calling me to “arm myself with the attitude of Christ” rather than drift back toward old patterns?  If the Lord were to return today, would my current lifestyle reflect holiness, faithfulness and readiness to stand before Him?

Honoring God through Trauma

February 22, 2026

1 Peter 3:17-22

When life wounds us, God calls us not to collapse under trauma but to honor Him through it. We’re reminded that Christ Himself suffered unjustly—yet His suffering brought us safely home to God. Our trials are not wasted; they shape our character, strengthen our faith and prepare us for eternal glory. We’ll explore how to walk faithfully, endure hardship with purpose and live with a conscience anchored in Christ.  Where in my current hardship is God inviting me to respond with faithfulness rather than frustration?  Does my daily attitude reflect gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice and a life set on “things above” rather than things on earth?

Maximum Impact for Christ

February 15, 2026

1 Peter 3:8-16

When God calls us to make a maximum impact for Christ, He doesn’t begin with our platform—He begins with our posture. In this passage, we’ll explore how unity, humility, peace‑pursuing obedience and a prepared witness open the door to God’s blessing and strengthen our testimony in a world that often pushes back. Discover how living faithfully, even under pressure, positions us for God’s favor and equips us to shine with hope.  Where am I resisting God’s call to peace, humility or unity—and what blessing might I be forfeiting by holding back?  How prepared am I to give a gentle, confident answer for the hope I claim to have?

Our Impact with Christ

February 8, 2026

1 Peter 3:1-8

What kind of impact does my life make for Christ? In 1 Peter 3, we’re reminded that our attitudes, our character and the way we treat one another preach a message long before our words ever do. God calls us to an inner beauty shaped by humility, gentleness and reverence—a life that draws others toward Him and reflects His transforming grace. Tomorrow we’ll explore how our daily choices, relationships, and responses reveal the true condition of our walk with Christ.  What message is my life sending to the people who observe me most closely?  Where is the Spirit of Christ inviting me to grow in gentleness, humility, or forgiveness?

Our Calling from Christ

February 1, 2026

1 Peter 2:21-25

Following Jesus isn’t just about believing in Him—it’s about walking in His steps. In 1 Peter 2:21–25, we’re reminded that Christ’s suffering wasn’t only for our salvation but also for our example. His obedience, His silence under accusation, His sacrifice and His shepherding care all reveal the path we are called to follow. This Sunday, we’ll explore what it truly means to return to the Shepherd of our souls and live out the calling He has placed on our lives.  What habits in my daily life show that I am genuinely following Christ’s example rather than my own way?  How is my faithfulness to God’s mission visible in the choices I make, the words I speak, and the way I respond to difficulty?

Our Relationships Because of Christ

January 25, 2026

1 Peter 2:17-21

In a world where respect is often conditional and patience wears thin, Scripture calls us to a radically different way of living. From honoring authority to enduring unjust treatment with Christlike grace, 1 Peter 2 shows us how our relationships become a testimony of the gospel itself. When we follow in Jesus’ steps—even in suffering—we reveal His character to a watching world.  Where is God inviting me to respond with Christlike respect, patience, or integrity—even when it’s difficult?  How can my attitude at home, work, church, or in the community better reflect the example Jesus set for me?

Our Life... Because of Christ

January 11, 2026

1 Peter 2:7-11

In a world that constantly tries to define our worth, 1 Peter 2 reminds us that our value, purpose and identity are anchored in Christ alone. We are called out of darkness, built on the Cornerstone and invited to live as God’s treasured people with lives that bear fruit for His glory. We will learn what it means to live faithfully, intentionally and distinctly because of Christ.  Where am I building carefully—and where am I building carelessly—on the foundation of Christ?  What fruit is my life producing, and how is God inviting me to grow in faithfulness?

Revelation of Christ

January 4, 2025

1 Peter 2:1-6

Peter calls believers to spiritual maturity by laying aside destructive habits and craving the pure nourishment of God’s Word. Christ the Cornerstone shapes the identity, unity and purpose of His people as they grow into a spiritual house. Peter emphasizes sincere living, steady growth and offering lives that reflect Christ’s character. Those who build on Him will never be put to shame. What habits or attitudes is God asking me to put away so I can grow? How is my daily life demonstrating that Christ is truly my cornerstone?

What is My Response?

December 28, 2025

Luke 1:28-32a, 34-38

Mary’s encounter with the angel reveals how God often steps into ordinary moments with extraordinary purpose. Her questions, fears and eventual surrender show the journey from uncertainty to willing obedience. God’s favor calls His people into courage, faith and participation in His unfolding work. Nothing is impossible with God, but He invites a willing heart. Where might God be inviting me to trust Him beyond my comfort? How can I respond with Mary’s posture: “I am the Lord’s servant”?
