Philippians List

Sharing That Pleases God

March 22, 2026

Philippians 4:14-23

In this passage, we’ll take a quiet, honest look at where our strength truly comes from. The week ahead may hold challenges we can’t yet see, but God has already prepared the grace we’ll need. This message will encourage your heart, steady your steps and remind you that the Lord is both your refuge and your source of renewal.  Where am I relying on my own strength instead of God’s, and how is that affecting my peace?  What is one practical step I can take this week to stay anchored in God’s promises?

Content in Christ

March 8, 2026

Philippians 4:10-14

Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:10–14 that true contentment isn’t found in circumstances, possessions or personal strength, but in Christ alone. Whether in seasons of plenty or seasons of need, the believer discovers peace, strength and generosity by depending on Him. When we share, give and live with Christ at the center, we reflect His heart to one another and to the world.  Where am I looking for contentment—my circumstances, my resources or Christ Himself?  How is my attitude in giving, sharing, and serving revealing the condition of my heart before the Lord?

Practicing Christlikeness

March 1, 2026

Philippians 4:5-9

Paul invites us into a life marked by gentleness, prayerful trust, disciplined thinking and daily obedience—habits that open the door to God’s peace. Through this passage, we’ll explore how these practices shape our witness, strengthen our faith and transform the way we face the pressures of everyday life. Be encouraged as you learn what it means to live with the peace of God guarding our hearts and minds.  Where is God inviting me to replace worry with prayerful trust this week?  What thoughts, habits or attitudes do I need to bring under Christ’s obedience so His peace can rule in me?

United in the Lord

February 22, 2026

Philippians 4:1-5

Paul gives the church a powerful picture of what a steadfast, Christ‑centered community looks like. He calls believers to stand firm together, pursue unity with humility and rejoice in the Lord regardless of circumstances. These verses remind us that faithfulness is not lived in isolation—we grow, worship and persevere best when we walk side‑by‑side with others whose names are written in the Book of Life. As we study this passage, we’ll discover how standing firm, encouraging unity and choosing joy shape a church that reflects the heart of Christ.  Where is God calling me to “stand firm” with greater faithfulness, gratitude, or perseverance?  Am I contributing to unity, peace and spiritual encouragement within the church—or am I unintentionally stirring division or discouragement?

Eyes on Eternity

February 15, 2026

Philippians 3:15-21

In a world that constantly pulls our attention downward, Paul calls believers to lift their eyes and live as citizens of heaven. In this passage, we’ll explore how spiritual maturity is seen not in what we claim, but in how we walk—how we train, how we follow and how we shine. Scripture reminds us that our choices reveal who we truly love and what kingdom we belong to. Christ invites us into a life of transformation that prepares us for glory.  What do my daily habits—my calendar, my conversations, my priorities—reveal about the kingdom I’m living for?  Where is the Lord inviting me to cooperate more fully with His transforming work rather than settling for “that’s just the way I am”?

Pressing on with Purpose

February 8, 2026

Philippians 3:10-16

Paul reminds us that knowing Christ is not a passive belief but a lifelong pursuit of transformation. In Philippians 3:10–16, we’re called to forget what holds us back, fix our eyes on Christ and run with endurance toward the life He has already secured for us. This is a passage for anyone who needs renewed focus, renewed strength, and renewed resolve.  What is one weight, habit or distraction I need to “forget” so I can press forward in my walk with Christ?  How can I actively live up to what I’ve already attained in Christ this week—through obedience, discipline or renewed devotion?

Honoring God's Servants

January 18, 2026

Philippians 2:25-30

Paul’s words about Epaphroditus remind us that God sees and values every act of humble, sacrificial service. In a world that celebrates spotlight moments, Scripture calls us to honor those who quietly refresh, encourage and bear the burdens of others for Christ’s sake. Let's examine the kind of servant we are becoming — and the kind of honor we give to those who labor faithfully around us.  In what ways am I refreshing, strengthening or encouraging others the way Epaphroditus did for Paul?  How is God calling me to honor, support or stand with the faithful servants He has placed in my life?

Christ Over Self

January 11, 2026

Philippians 2:14-24

When believers choose love over grumbling and self‑interest, they shine like stars in a world bent by selfishness. Paul reminds us that joy, endurance and genuine concern for others are marks of a life shaped by Christ rather than self. We, as Believers, are called hold firmly to the Word of Life and live in a way that builds up the body of Christ.  Where am I tempted to criticize, complain, or prioritize my preferences instead of reflecting Christ’s love?  How can I intentionally “hold firmly to the Word of Life” this week in both my attitude and my actions?

Jesus - Our Humble Example

December 28, 2025

2:5-11

Paul lifts our eyes to the humility and obedience of Christ—the eternal Son who became a servant and embraced the cross. We can see the heart of Jesus and the pattern He sets for His people: self‑giving love, surrendered obedience and a life that honors God above all. Paul ends this message with the breathtaking truth that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.  How is Christ inviting me to walk in deeper humility and obedience? What would change in my relationships if I truly adopted the mindset of Jesus?

How Should We Then Live

December 21, 2025

2:1-5

Paul calls the church to a Christ‑shaped unity marked by tenderness, compassion, humility and shared purpose. He reminds believers that genuine fellowship flows from the love of Christ and is proven through how we treat one another. We need to lay down selfish ambition and embrace the mindset of Jesus in every relationship. How am I contributing to unity, humility and love within my church family? Where is God asking me to put someone else’s needs ahead of my own?

Fear Not - God is in Control

December 14, 2025

1:27-30

Paul urges believers to live as citizens of heaven—standing firm, striving together, and refusing intimidation from opposition. Paul reminds the church that God uses both their unity and their suffering to reveal the power of the Gospel. Our conduct becomes a testimony that we belong to Him. Does my daily conduct reflect the Gospel I claim to believe? Where is God calling me to stand firm, walk in peace or represent Christ more faithfully?

Faith Over Fear of Circumstances

December 7, 2025

1:20-26

“To live is Christ, to die is gain” becomes Paul’s defining heartbeat. His message calls us to courageous living, fruitful labor and a life that unmistakably exalts Jesus. Paul wrestles honestly between longing for heaven and embracing the ministry God still has for him on earth.  What fruit is my life producing right now? How is God asking me to invest in the progress and joy of someone else’s faith?

Keep My Eyes on Christ

November 30, 2025

1:12-19

Paul’s chains didn’t silence the Gospel—they amplified it. God used hardship, motives and daily witness to advance His purposes. Even when others act from rivalry or selfish ambition, Christ is still proclaimed, and that is Paul’s joy. Do my words and actions set people free or weigh them down? How can I encourage boldness and confidence in the Lord through my own testimony?

Introduction

November 23, 2025

1:1-11

Paul opens his letter with gratitude, joy and a deep confidence that God finishes what He starts. As you listen, explore what it means to live “in Christ” and to grow in love, discernment and spiritual fruit. Challenge yourself to consider whether your life reflects the ongoing work of God’s grace. Are others strengthened because they’ve been around me? How is God inviting me to grow in love, insight and Christlike living this week?
